Golden Acre - Summer Lodge 16

Photo: Golden Acre Jurassic Coastal Lodges

Summer Lodge 16 is a single-storey bungalow on a quiet holiday complex near Bridport, with everything arranged on one level for ease. Two bedrooms—one double, one twin—each have their own shower room. The open-plan living area contains a sofa, dining table and kitchen equipped for self-catering, with doors leading to a private garden where there's a sitting-out space. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; one car can park on site. Dogs stay free.

The location works well for coastal exploration. Eype Beach is walkable, and from there cliff-top paths lead towards Seatown and Thorncombe Beacon. Bridport itself has independent shops, markets and cafés, while West Bay and Lyme Regis are nearby. The complex sits in a peaceful corner of the area, with local pubs, restaurants and a supermarket within reach. No smoking inside the lodge.

Eype is one of the quieter kittle coves on the coast. Golden Acre is very laid back and relaxing. I really liked it

We had the best stay at GA! The lodge was perfect - clean, quiet, walkable to the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks all. ❤️

Booked this last minute getaway so we only stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could've stayed for longer. Lovely cosy chalet style accommodation. We stayed in a one bedroom and requested a zed bed for our toddler which was perfect. The beds were comfy. Very well equipped and a nice complimentary of tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch and they even had treats for the dog. The little garden was ideal for the dog and I'm sure would be a nice place to relax in the warmer months. Location beautiful and just a short walk down to Eype beach. Great communication thoughtout with Tom. My partner also left his headphones in the room and didn't realise until we were back home. Tom thankfully found them and sent them back to us. So very honest and genuine, very grateful for that thankyou! Would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time 😃
