Tarrant Valley House - Sleeps 12

Tarrant Valley House is a substantial farmhouse on a working farm in Dorset, equipped to handle groups of up to 12 people. Six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, means no queuing for showers; four have roll-top baths alongside cubicle showers. Beds are arranged as zip-and-link super king-sizes that can be split into singles on request, with two further doubles, and the house can provide three travel cots and three highchairs if needed. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the wood burners.

The kitchen has an Aga, induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer and wine cooler, plus a breakfast area—enough to feed a crowd without fuss. Downstairs holds two living rooms (one with a 60-inch TV, one with a 55-inch smart TV), both with open fires, a dining room opening to a terrace, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and two separate toilets. The Sonos sound system covers the ground floor for music throughout.

Outside, the enclosed orchard and walled gardens include a play area, games equipment, tree swing and large lawn suitable for badminton or cricket. There's a firepit and barbecue for outdoor cooking, and garden furniture dotted around. An indoor swimming pool and sauna (shared facilities) operate year-round. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside. Parking is private and plentiful.
