Toad Hall is a ground-floor barn conversion at White Horse Farm, a 2-acre rural retreat south of Sherborne. The building sits among converted farm buildings and woodland, with its own decked patio facing out to garden furniture. Inside, an open-plan living space combines sitting and dining areas around an electric fire, a kitchen with cooker and microwave, two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), and a shower room. One dog stays free of charge.
The property comes with heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. There is private parking for two cars on site. Beyond your own patio, the grounds hold a games room with table tennis and table football, shared barbecues, and a fenced duck pond. A pub stands within a mile. Sherborne itself, with its abbey and castle, lies six miles north; Dorchester is twelve miles south. The property does not permit smoking, and there is a step up to the decked patio.

Our recent holiday in Moleys cottage was excellent, the cottage is very comfortable and has everything needed to make your stay pleasant. Our two dogs loved the paddock area, it is completely fenced off which is a comfort knowing that they can run around. The hosts Stuart and Audrey are delighted, on arrival we were welcome with fresh hen eggs and a delicious cake. The cottage was also supplied with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Bed linen and towels were also included. White Horse Farm is a good base to go exploring from, highly recommend Cerne Abbas (great for dog walking) and Sherborne Castle. We will definitely be returning.

A great place to stay and ideal for exploring everything on offer. The accommodation may not be modern but it's clean reliable and offers all the essentials. A real cottage feel to the place. The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. There's a pub right next door that offers fresh local food that has a standard hard to beat. Each and every day we explored the local towns and exhibits from Monkey World, Sea Life to museums, Dorchester, Yeovil and Weymouth to name but a few.

Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend break, it was the first family break with our dog Rosie. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the couple that run the place, they gave us a tour of the place and gave us some chickens eggs and a delicious homemade lemon cake. The facilities were well equipped and they thought of everything, the place was clean and cosy and we absolutely enjoyed the cabin with the side garden and also the barbecue hut . We definitely would like to rebook in the future.
