Whitey Top Country Lodge is a new build on a small holiday park within a working dairy farm near Salisbury. The lodge is yours alone, and comes with its own hot tub. It sits in the Cranborne Chase area, which is designated an International Dark Sky Reserve—stargazing is possible on clear nights. The location is quiet but not isolated: Martin Down National Nature Reserve is on the doorstep, the New Forest is twenty minutes' drive away, and footpaths thread through the countryside around the hamlet of Pentridge for walking and cycling.
Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living space has a kitchen with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher, a dining area that opens onto a terrace, and a sitting area with a smart TV. Bedroom one has a king bed and ensuite shower; bedroom two has two single beds. A second bathroom with a bath and shower serves the second bedroom. The garden has a sitting area and furniture. Parking for two cars is provided, and Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included. No smoking.

What guests say
What a wonderful cosy lodge. We had the pleasure of staying in the Stargazer over Christmas. Warm. Clean. Comfortable. Well equipped. Nice little welcome treats and a beautiful real christmas tree. We cooked a full Christmas dinner and all the trimmings so for a small kitchen everything is there. Beautiful shower room. Set in a fantastic quite and peaceful location. The Hot tub was a huge highlight and the stargazing was amazing, loved the telescope as well. Our son enjoyed his room in the roof and said the bed was very comfortable as was the one downstairs. Highly recommended and we definitely be returning. Run by friendly owners who have throught of everything you would need.
