Eric and Ruby are great hosts and make you feel very welcome. Appreciated them leaving some breakfast items for me so could have an early breakfast so was on time for the morning ferry home. 5 minute walk into Centre of Douglas. Parking available on side road nearby.

I wish I could give the service a 6 star the service by eric was amazing and he went above and beyond in every aspect. He also did an great full English breakfast. If you are going to isle of man stay here for an amazing memorable service

Similar to most guest houses in Douglas, the property dates back to circa 1900 so it is a pretty old building. Situated a walk up the hill from Broadway on the promenade but within easy reach of bus stops, shops and other amenities as well as being within walking distance to the horse drawn trams and electric trains. Eric the gentleman who runs the guest house couldn't have done enough, nothing was a problem to him and the cooked breakfast in the morning along with available fruits and cereals were just perfect to set you up for the day. A fridgefreezer, microwave and toaster are in the dining room for the sole use of guests. Having had a lovely 4 night stay. Eric once again was kind enough to bring our baggage down to the ferry terminal for us so we were not burdened with it. 10 out of 10 for Eric and crew at the adelphi. Stayed here 2 nights was spotless clean, good breakfast and a few mins walk from the promenade. Bit of hill on way back up but we managed no problem. Eric the owner was lovely and helpful in telling us about transport & places to eat.
