My review echoes the other 5* reviews on here. Excellent location - central for all attractions in all directions. Beautiful hotel, looks recently refurbed. It's modern, bright, airy and spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly, owner Kevin took time out to meet and offer tips/advice to enhance our trip. Excellent breakfast choices,better than some bigger, more expensive hotels. Better quality too. You can see the care and quality ingredients that go into it. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if I returned to IoM.

Fantastic location in the heart of Douglas. The rooms were spotless, really comfortable and very quiet. We had the huge family room complete with a fridge. The highlight for us were the owners. Gillian took great care of us when we were booking and arranged a room on the 1st floor for two of our party with mobility limitations. Kevin, who not only cooks the most amazing breakfast, gave up his time to chat with us regarding all all things tourism and locations. It was a great help during our stay on the island. Overall this is an incredible spot to stay and one of the few places I've found which really does give you more for your money. Will definitely be back!

A perfect place to put your head down after a good day exploring, very central and access to public transport. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. Although there is no manned reception but communication was excellent, it was easy to let myself in and settle in. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. they were very helpful and attentive. The proprietor/owner is a great guy, we had a good laugh and he made it feel like i was visiting family! Keep up the good work. The breakfast was excellent as well and plenty of street parking! Will definitely stay again!

A great welcome and fantastic service from the owner. Lovely cooked breakfast and even a special take a way one on the day I had to leave early for the ferry back. Comfortable and well appointed room with a good sized shower room and everything you need. Definitely coming back next time I'm on the island 👍
