I would recommend to all my friends and family to come here, the staff were brilliant and really friendly, can't thank them enough for helping me change as i struggle climbing stairs, I would give all the staff 10 out of 10. I really wished I checked the ratings on google before I stayed at this place. No lift, steep stairs, underground, the room looked like it haven’t had anyone stayed for a long time, there were BIG spiders, and long worms/insect in toilet bowl (scared the hell out of me), on the surface looks decent, really looks like not many guests stayed at this place during my stay. Towels some were dirty and one was moist i dont know why. The location was a little far off from the central by walk as well. Good points: has alot of kitchen utensils and appliances so if you’re into cooking while you’re here then it’ll be useful, and there’s a tub.

The lights did not work in the room. The shower only 2 settings - hot and extra hot. The ceiling was too low - it was an attic room only suited for small children. The curtains are paper thin letting lots of light in when you are trying to sleep in the morning. The breakfast looked crap but, surprisingly, tasted nice.

1/5. Avoid at all costs. Fails in every aspect to livable accommodation. Cold, damp, sound pollution, musty room, poor quality beds/ linen, unhelpful staff, and expensive. Not a 4-star guest house. Not worthy of the rating. A poor reflection of Isle of Man tourism and hospitality.
