About The Woodside
Each of the ten rooms at The Woodside comes with its own en-suite bathroom, and drinks can be brought straight to the room rather than having to head down to the bar. It's a simple, no-fuss set-up, well suited to travellers who want a comfortable base rather than a destination in itself.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar serving breakfast, with kids' meals available and a snack bar for something lighter. A garden with outdoor seating gives guests somewhere to sit outside, and free WiFi and 24-hour reception cover the practical side of things. Free on-site parking is also included, useful given the hotel's setting in Doune, Stirling.
The location works well for exploring the area, with Doune Castle and the Trossachs National Park both within easy reach. There's also a pub, restaurant and further entertainment nearby, so there's no need to rely solely on the hotel for evenings out.
