Now is a detached off-grid pod on the banks of Loch Rusky in rural Stirlingshire. You get a king-size bedroom, ensuite shower room, combined living space and kitchen, and a private deck facing the water. One dog can stay free of charge. The pod runs on solar power with electric heating; essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and there is parking for three cars on site.

The setting makes this a base for loch activities—wild swimming, paddleboarding and fishing all happen from the shore directly outside. The surrounding woodlands hold red squirrels, deer and various birdlife, with walking trails through the Trossachs nearby. A gas barbecue on the grounds lets you cook outdoors. Aberfoyle and Callander are short drives away for village shops and pubs. Smoking is not permitted inside.
