Little Satmar Holiday Park

Winehouse Ln, Capel-le-Ferne, Folkestone CT18 7JF, UK

Clifftop touring and camping park above Capel-le-Ferne, west of Dover

About Little Satmar Holiday Park

Little Satmar Holiday Park occupies high ground above Capel-le-Ferne, with sweeping Channel views from parts of the site and direct access to the coast path leading to the Battle of Britain Memorial and Dover's White Cliffs. As part of the Haven group, it offers a fuller range of facilities than most independent touring parks in the area—an outdoor pool, shop, bar and peak-season entertainment alongside children's play areas—making it a livelier choice for families wanting more on-site activity.

The park welcomes tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with electric hookups and Wi-Fi across communal areas. Dogs are permitted on designated pitches. While some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places, the clifftop position and easy M20/A20 access for day trips deeper into Kent keep it popular. The coast path runs in both directions—towards Folkestone and Sandgate to the west, the White Cliffs to the east—giving walkers plenty to explore beyond the park gates.

We contacted little sat mar campsite on our way home from France. My son wasnt in a good place and just needed a few nights of tranquility, and unfortunately i couldnt stay due to work commitments. We couldn't have picked a better site, it was stunning, welcoming, spotless and friendly from the offset. My son stayed a few nights and the couple Ben and his wife went out of their way to make sure my son had everything he needed and kept popping in to make sure he was OK. They went above and beyond their duties. Son is now home and I believe they have kept in touch. What an absolutely gem of a couple. So caring and thoughtful. I will be forever grateful for their time and compassion.

What a lovely site! Immaculately clean and tidy. We arrived late and left by 8am but had time to walk the dogs locally and use the shower. Will be our stop whenever we use the tunnel or ferry in the future.

We were part of a group of eight people in four campervans and we stayed overnight before travelling to France. We were all impressed by the site - its beautiful, quiet and spotlessly clean. We said that we'd go back for a longer stay and visit Folkestone and Dover. The owners are a lovely couple. Highly recommended

Lovely clean and well organised campsite. Friendly couple running the place in reception. Very helpful. Nice walks and a pub (royal oak) nearby
