Chalet 56

Dover sits on the Kent coast between two towns worth knowing: Deal, with its castles and independent shops, and Broadstairs, facing Viking Bay. Kingsdown Holiday Park occupies 36 acres of this stretch, and Chalet 56 is a three-bedroom base here with direct access to a shared heated pool and views across the English Channel. The property sleeps six and comes as yours alone for the duration.

The ground floor contains a double bedroom and a bunk room, both opening onto decking, plus a kitchen with electric cooking and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, a third bedroom holds two single beds. The living space is open plan with a smart TV and patio doors to outside seating. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included; there is underfloor heating downstairs and electric heaters above. A shared laundry room and parking permit for one car come with the let. No smoking inside.

From here you can walk to Deal's seafront for fish and chips, visit the castles, or travel on to Margate for the Turner Centre and Dreamland. Summer evenings on the decking facing the Channel are straightforward; the pool and onsite facilities mean the park itself keeps families occupied too.
