Great food and very good service thanks to Owen. If you like chili don’t miss this place. First time Malaysian for me. Loved it. The highlight is the salad. KERABU young jack fruit starfruit salad. Chili and slight sweet and citrus tase were amazing. We started with pickles. salad and otak otak, continued with meat and whole mackerel. All to share for 3 people. Mackerel has a strong fish sauce and taste. They can improve on the wine selection. Great night

Dinner for two, we really enjoyed it. I can't praise the dishes highly enough, delicious, spicy, complex flavours. Beautiful. Fabulous ingredients. The buzz of the open kitchen. Great music. Incredible cocktails. Packed diners. Could have been a party at every table. We had Achar Awak, the pickles sharp and clean, Otak-Otak a collision of temperature and texture, the Prosperity Yam Basket, cashews tumbling off the kung pao, heat building with every mouthful, and the Assam Pedas Daging, the sournesss and spice compounding until the plate was clean. I picked the 100+ Sour, vivid red dusting and the best gin cocktail in ages. Incredibly knowledgeable server and bants from the open kitchen and bar. This could not get better. Later, we recovered in the heated garden, fresh air, caramelised cassava cake dripping in nutty toasted rice ice cream. Go!

The hogget and dessert were the highlights of the dinner. The meat was so tender and the curry was just banging, probably the best curry I had in London tbh. The clams were sandy though which was unpleasant, other than that service was really good and we overall enjoyed all the other dishes and had a great meal. Would def go back to try more dishes.

A friend saw this restaurant recommended, so we decided to give it a try. Just a heads-up: the restaurant is quite small and has an open kitchen, which means you can smell everything being cooked. It didn’t bother us, but it’s worth noting in case that’s not your thing. To drink, we ordered a bottle of white wine (Verdil) and a bottle of red (Tempranillo). Both were okay—perfectly drinkable, but nothing particularly memorable. For food, the waiter was very helpful and suggested ordering 10–12 dishes for the five of us. We chose: Achar Awak, Celeriac Skewers, Otak-Otak Prawn Toast, Umai, Karabu Beetroot Salad, White Pepper Palurde Clams, 1/2 Garlic Fried Chicken, Grilled Hogget Rump, and Whole Gurnard with Turmeric Asam-Style and Coconut Rice. Personally, the Achar Awak, Celeriac Skewers, and Palurde Clams didn’t stand out for me, and I probably wouldn’t order them again. However, everything else was delicious. Special mention goes to the 1/2 Garlic Fried Chicken, the Grilled Hogget Rump, and the Whole Gurnard with Turmeric Asam-Style—all fantastic and highly recommended. The food was very good overall, but keep in mind this won’t be a cheap meal. Unless you order less food or stick to a single bottle of wine, you’re likely looking at around £70 per person.

Diners like this restaurant's delicious and innovative Malaysian food, with many highlighting the prawn toast, fried chicken, and lamb ribs. They also mention the lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent cocktails.

Some reviews mention the food can be overly spicy.
