About Harrow Hill Glamping with Alpacas

It might be that you're looking towards the Forest of Dean for a cycling break or to spot deer and wild boar along your hikes, or perhaps you're more excited for watersports in the Wye Valley. Whatever your calling, Harrow Hill Glamping with Alpacas is a family-friendly site well situated for it all, in a scenic setting on the edge of the ancient forest in Drybrook.

A few creatures already call this place home. The quiet smallholding has a group of resident alpacas and passing wildlife makes an appearance, from rabbits in the field to squirrels in the trees and buzzards overhead. Keen to clock in some steps? You can set out on foot directly from the site on a gentle walk around the nearby hill, a favourite haunt for deer and wild boar. Cyclists can pick up Forest of Dean trails straight from camp—no need to drive.

For your prep, there's a full camp kitchen with gas hobs, oven, pots, pans and washing-up point. Each tent gets a dedicated portable toilet with warm water, plus shared showers. Cinderford, five minutes away, sorts you for food shops, restaurants and pubs.

We had a fabulous stay here the tent was set up lovely & had a great nights sleep on the beds. There is two toilets one for each tent so you have a toilet to your self for your stay 👍 big thumbs up, & there's an outdoor shower too. There is a kitchen tent with everything you could possibly need for cooking, making a cuppa & cool box with cool packs provided to keep your food cool. If like me you can't be bothered cooking on the day of arrival there is a lovely little pub with in 20min walk (3min in the car, plenty of parking at pub) Which does an amazing bacon & cheese burger & pizzas, called the Heart of Oak. The Alpaca's are in the field right next to the glamping which is a lovely touch getting so close. The owners are so nice and friendly and made sure our stay was a very comfortable one. Would we stay again 🤔 OMG yeah we definitely would so just sign us up for the same time, same place next year. Thank you so much we had a great time 😁

Camping, with the camping part taken care of for you. Friendly hosts and good fun, get a BBQ and enjoy being almost away from it all. Alpakers are cool too 👍
