Fern House

Fern House opens directly into a kitchen and dining room where you can cook and eat without leaving the heart of the space. The kitchen is equipped to handle proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer—along with a coffee machine and wine cooler for the smaller things that matter. Glass doors lead from here into the living room, where a smart TV and comfortable seating face out onto the garden through patio doors, and a separate toilet sits tucked away downstairs.

Three bedrooms are spread across the first floor. The largest has a king-size bed and ensuite; a double bedroom also has its own shower room; the twin bedroom shares the main bathroom, which includes a bath with shower over. All three bathrooms have heated towel rails. Wi-Fi, electricity and bed linen are provided, and parking for three cars sits on the drive. An electric vehicle charging point is available if you need it. A travel cot and highchair are on hand for families with young children, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. The back garden has a patio with furniture for sitting out.

Ruardean Hill is a few minutes from Drybrook in the Forest of Dean. The property is non-smoking throughout. Arrive after 16:00; depart by 10:00.
