A lovely stay on the West Highland Way, hosted by Carolyn and her family. We were made to feel so welcome, and the food was fantastic - home made pizzas in the evening and a hearty, healthy breakfast to see us on our way. The room was comfortable and clean, with homemade toiletries in the lovely ensuite.

We had a lovely, one night, stay at altquhur Byre, when we were walking the West Highland Way. Carolyn was a superb host, very friendly, helpfull and a warm personality. We felt really welcome and enjoyed the room, the shower, the PIZZA😍 the bed and breakfast. We would defenitly reccomend! If possible we would give extra stars😉

Lovely stay at Carolyn’s place for a couple of nights. We were made to feel very welcome and Carolyn had loads of great tips on things to do and see in the local area. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was spotless and very comfortable. This is a great base for hiking in the Loch Lomond area. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in comfy twin beds overlooking the ducks! A beautiful breakfast and warm conversation, it felt like we were family. Highly recommend stopping here or at the honesty box for a treat.
