Auld Dairy Cottage
Dumfries and Galloway
Rural Dumfries and Galloway stretches around Auld Dairy Cottage in quiet countryside near Drummore, Scotland's southernmost village. The working landscape here opens onto Luce Bay, with the Galloway Hills rising inland—a setting that draws walkers year-round. From the cottage doorstep, quiet country lanes lead down to the village's traditional fishing harbour and beach, or branch into miles of footpaths and cycle routes across open terrain.
The cottage is a detached three-bedroom property, entirely yours for the duration of your stay. The main living areas are arranged on the ground floor: a spacious living and dining room with patio doors onto a secure garden where you can sit out, and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking proper meals. Bedrooms comprise one kingsize with an ensuite shower, one double, and one with twin singles. A second bathroom serves the other bedrooms. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; private parking accommodates four cars.
This is a base for exploring the Southern Upland Way and other long-distance routes, or simply for families wanting a quiet village near the coast. No smoking inside the property.
