Hammy’s Cottage

Drummore sits at the tip of the Rhins of Galloway, where the landscape turns rugged and the coastline draws walkers, wildlife watchers and anyone seeking proper quiet. Hammy's Cottage occupies a corner of this small village, a short distance from the beach and the water views across Luce Bay. The whole place is yours alone, with parking on the road outside and an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture.

Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner and Smart TV opening onto that private courtyard, plus a kitchen with electric cooking, microwave, washing machine and everything needed to prepare meals. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed; the other has two single beds plus a pull-out single for flexible sleeping. There is one shower room. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, as are the initial logs for the stove.

The area rewards exploration on foot—coastal paths and clifftop trails run in multiple directions—and by car. Logan Botanical Gardens lies within reach, as do the seabird cliffs at Mull of Galloway and villages like Portpatrick. Luce Bay itself offers swimming and the simple pleasure of watching the water change. One dog is welcome. The cottage does not permit smoking.
