Culbae Cottage

Newton Stewart sits at the heart of Galloway countryside, where rolling farmland meets a rugged coastline within easy reach. Culbae Cottage occupies a quiet spot on a working farm, surrounded by the kind of landscape that draws people to southwest Scotland. The village of Port William lies five miles away, perched above Luce Bay with views across to the Mull of Galloway and the Isle of Man beyond.

The cottage is ground-floor throughout. A living room with a woodburner and patio doors opens onto an enclosed rear garden with patio and seating. The kitchen has a full range of appliances including a dishwasher. One bedroom holds a king bed with an ensuite bathroom; the second has two single beds and its own shower room. A separate toilet serves the property. Parking for two cars is on site. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and initial logs for the woodburner are provided.

The gardens are fully fenced, making them suitable for children or dogs—one dog is welcome, though sheep farming means it must stay on a lead. No smoking throughout.
