Dinduff Lodge
Dumfries and Galloway
The Rhins of Galloway peninsula stretches into the Irish Sea, a quiet corner of south-west Scotland where you can walk to seal colonies and watch migrant terns nesting on sandbanks. Dinduff Lodge stands on the north-west coast near Stranraer, a modern house built to take in those views across Loch Ryan Bay. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep up to six; there's space for one dog and private parking for four cars.
The main living area occupies the ground floor as one open plan space, with a woodburner, a 55-inch TV and patio doors leading out to the garden. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, American fridge freezer. One bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower; the other two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with two singles) share a bathroom with a slipper bath and separate walk-in shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, plus initial logs for the woodburner and a welcome pack.
Outside, a private hot tub sits on the patio beside the lawned garden and furniture. From here you can walk to Dally Bay and along the Scar, a sandbank that curves out into the loch. The village of Kirkcolm is within reach on foot. No smoking inside the property.
