Wig bay Loch view 28 (21/06/2025) I booked this property for a two-night stay through Booking.com. Before our arrival, I received an email from the property owner with information about our stay. After travelling for over two hours, we arrived at Wigbay Loch View 28 only to find that the caravan had not been cleaned after the previous guests. The beds had not been changed, and the property was not ready for new customers. I contacted the owner immediately and was told that I could clean the caravan myself and stay, and that she would issue a refund. This was completely unacceptable. I then contacted Booking.com, who said they would arrange alternative accommodation within 30 minutes. Instead, we waited in our car for nearly two hours until around 9:30 pm. When I contacted Booking.com again, they simply refunded the cost of the original booking and ended the call without providing any alternative accommodation. With no place to stay, we had no option but to make the two-hour journey back home. Our holiday was completely ruined. If you are considering booking this property, I recommend reading the reviews carefully before making a decision. Based on my experience, neither the property owner nor Booking.com provided the level of service or support I expected when things went wrong.

We only used the bar. It's location is great for the Loch Ryan, two minute walk. Nicely decorated. Unfortunately the coffee machine was out of action. They were not willing to pop the kettle on, so we didn't stay long.
