Dunskey Estate - Rose Blair Lodge

Rose Blair Lodge is a single-storey property on the Dunskey Estate, a sprawling seaside setting near Dumfries and Galloway. It sleeps two people and comes as an entire property to yourself, with one bedroom, one bathroom, and a woodburner in the living room. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob and microwave; bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, along with initial logs for the fire.

The lodge opens onto a large garden with furniture, a barbecue and fire pit. The grounds also contain a wishing well, a brook and a lake. A particular feature is an outdoor bathtub set among shrubs in the garden. The estate itself is threaded with woodland trails that run alongside water and lead towards private bays on the coast; the landscape takes in bluebells and wild flowers in season. There is private parking for two cars, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
