Perch Hall Cottage

Perch Hall Cottage is a sandstone property where everything unfolds on one level. You step through the entrance into a generous ground floor that flows from the kitchen and dining room—open plan and equipped for cooking proper meals—through to a living room with a wood burner for cooler evenings. Three bedrooms and a shower room complete the layout, making it straightforward for families or groups of six.

The cottage sits on a large lawned garden with seating areas and furniture outside. There is private parking for multiple cars and a bike store if you are bringing machines. Inside, electricity, bed linen, towels and superfast fibre Wi-Fi are all provided, plus initial logs for the wood burner. One dog is welcome to stay free of charge. Smoking is not permitted.

Lockerbie, five miles away, has shops, cafés and restaurants, plus an ice rink with weekend skating in season and a railway station serving Carlisle, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists—four of the renowned 7stanes mountain biking centres are nearby, and sandy beaches lie nineteen miles distant. The countryside here draws wildlife including migrating Barnacle geese along the coast.
