Sinclair's comes equipped for genuine comfort rather than making do. The kitchen has everything needed for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge—plus a washer dryer tucked away. Patio doors open from the dining area onto a garden with furniture and a sitting space. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included; the woodburner has its first load of fuel ready. If you're travelling with small children, a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The layout spreads across three floors. Ground floor holds two separate living rooms (one with the woodburner, the other quieter), plus the kitchen/diner. Upstairs: a king bedroom with dressing area and ensuite shower, a bunk bedroom, and the main bathroom. Higher still, two single beds occupy the attic bedroom. The whole place is yours alone—no shared facilities, no other guests.

Gatehouse of Fleet has pubs and shops within walking distance. The coast, woodland walks and Cardoness Castle all sit nearby. No smoking indoors.
