The Lodge on the Beach

The Lodge on the Beach is a single-storey log cabin positioned directly on the coast, with Luce Bay visible across the water and sand just a short walk away. Everything happens on the ground floor: a combined living and kitchen space flows into a dining room with doors opening to the garden, while two bedrooms and a shower room complete the layout. One bedroom has a king bed; the other contains two bunks. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with a full-size oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and air fryer, plus a utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer for longer stays.

Eight acres of grounds surround the cabin, including a garden with seating, a firepit and a grill. Parking for three cars sits on site. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The cabin accepts one pet at no extra charge.

From here, the South West Scotland coastline offers sandy beaches, coastal walks and access to the 7 Stanes mountain biking trails at Kirroughtree. Glenluce is a few minutes' drive away for shopping; Stranraer, around 20 minutes further, has larger supermarkets and amenities. The area is also home to numerous golf courses. No smoking indoors.
