What guests say
I always have a fantastic stay at the Best Western Invercarse Hotel. The hotel is in a great location, with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. One of the standout features for me was the EV charging facilities, which made travelling with an electric vehicle completely hassle-free. It’s great to see the hotel providing such a convenient service for guests. The food was excellent from start to finish, with a good variety of options and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant staff were attentive and professional, making every meal enjoyable. A special mention must go to Holly & Lesley on reception, who are absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and their friendly attitude genuinely enhanced my stay. Holly & Lesley are a real credit to the hotel and provide the kind of customer service that guests remember long after they’ve checked out. Overall, I would highly recommend the Best Western Invercarse Hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

Wish we would've stayed closer to town--not quite worth the price for our intentions. Would have rather spent on hotel w/ a gym, included breakfast, and solid location. Staff very friendly. Congratulated us on our honeymoon, but didn't offer any sort of nicety. Food and drink are overpriced (particularly annoying when a hotel does this knowing that there are no other nearby options). Bus into town easy -- about £3 pp one-way--not cheap. Rooms are plenty comfortable, but don't have views. If there's an event going on, parking lot sound may be annoying. Otherwise birdsong :) No aircon, no conditioner/lotion, no refrigerator in rooms. Floorboards quite creaky.

Great hotel - located not too far from Ninewells Hospital and the city centre. They very kindly upgraded the room. It was a great experience - my only downside was the relatively poor WiFi. I know it's slightly outside the city centre but we'd expect WiFi that can allow us to watch YouTube/shows as per convenience. The check in and checkout were smooth and they were willing to accomodate a late arrival.

Dinner on Sunday night was our experience and was a bit lacking to say the least .staff were pleasant and spent most of the 2 hours we were there apologising (they must be sick fed up of this).ordered quickly enough but my drink was forgotten about so received it 30 minutes late .food arrived fairly quickly and was quite tasty .Ordered out dessert but only 3 of the 5 desserts on menu was availed .ordered trio of ice creams and the selection of Scottish cheeses. we’re still waiting 35 minutes later then the desserts arrived turns out the kitchen lost the ticket , strawberry and vanilla , I thought trio meant three and the Scottish cheeses were ……..Brie ! Just Brie no cheddar or other wonderful home made cheeses just Brie .lastly our bill arrived and was asked how everything was , yet another apology from them 2 hours for 2 courses £50 , another .now I do get places are understaffed and run out of stuff But please explain at outset so we had a choice wihether to stay or go .i now have a choice and given plenty of other hotels to eat at , I would not risk eating there again
