Staff are really helpful and friendly rooms are good the bed is so comfy not hard had a great sleep if I had one suggestion blackout curtains for the summer months. Location is good had a nice walk in to the city centre and walked back so not far from Dundee city centre. Service is good especially at breakfast quick. Would I come back yes I would very much worth the money I paid

The Shaftesbury was a quaint little hotel in a charming residential neighbourhood with ample street parking. It is just a short drive to the city centre. The rooms are clean with super comfortable beds. The staff are all fantastic and courteous The breakfast was excellent with cooked eggs, meats, fruit, yoghurt and juices. Had an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

A bit outdated, but clean. The wifi modem had a bright blue light, located just by the bed was a bit annoying since it lit up the whole room during the night. The breakfast was great, very large portions, the two of us could have shared one plate, but it was fresh and tastes great.

A lovely old building kept spotless. A comfy bed and a great shower. Breakfasts are lovely. Easy on road parking, quiet area. Owners and staff very helpful and polite. Good value for money. I will definitely stay again.
