About Travelodge Dundee Central

The V&A Dundee is within easy reach of Travelodge Dundee Central, and the city centre itself is only a short trip away, making this a practical base for exploring the waterfront and the shops, pubs and restaurants beyond it. Golf and fishing are also nearby for those wanting to venture further afield, along with local entertainment venues for evenings out.

The hotel has 48 rooms spread across three floors, served by a lift, with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in the room. Accessible rooms are available, and pets are welcome. Rooms are generally spacious with comfortable beds, though some have been reported as not always well kept, so it is worth asking to see a room if that matters to you. Breakfast is not included as standard and may come at an extra cost.

Free on-site parking is offered, though spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is advisable. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and reception operates around the clock. An electric vehicle charge point is also available on site.

Lovely staff- evening and morning. Large, spotless room. Lovely view from the room. Easy enough to get breakfast down the road at Tebay. I appreciated being given the number of reception on my room card in case of problems. Helps with feeling safe if you're travelling solo. A super reasonable price for the room too.

Stayed here during the weekdays over the course of 4-weeks for work. Every single one of the staff were incredibly friendly! I wasn’t aware that UK hotels usually don’t have a fridge, so that was surprising to me, but I made do. Lidl and Tesco are a stone throw away and walkable to all the great attractions that Dundee has to offer!

We had a brilliant stay in the Dundee Central Travelodge. We stayed from Friday till Monday and had a great time! We found it easily enough but had to reroute our sat nav to the parking which is round the back. The carpark has loads of spaces and is close to the entrance. Our room was lovely. We were in a corner room and it was spacious and clean. As always the bed was so comfy! This Travelodge is in a great location and is pretty central to all the delights Dundee has to offer. Highly recommend if your looking for a few peaceful nights away with plenty to see and do in the daytime.

Easy to book and check in, staff not always at counter but dial on phone on desk and they do attend. Room was clean and tidy and fresh bedding provided with clean towels, ideal for people travelling for work with it being central, station was 10 mins walk away same as city centre. Breakfasts are quick away travel box so no restaurant but you can order food to the hotel to eat if needed, but if you're up here to visit your better off experiencing the different types available in the city itself. Would definitely book again.
