About Park Hotel Dunoon
The Park Hotel sits on Glenmorag Avenue, a short walk from Dunoon's West Bay seafront, and has built a loyal following as a comfortable, unpretentious base for exploring the town and the wider Cowal Peninsula. It is smaller and more informal than some of the seafront hotels, with a bar and restaurant that draw a mix of residents and locals rather than functioning purely as a hotel dining room.
Rooms are straightforward and well kept, and the hotel is one of the more pet-friendly options in the town, a point regularly welcomed by dog-owning guests exploring the Cowal Way and the forest paths around Loch Eck. Free parking and complimentary wifi are provided throughout, and Cowal Golf Club is within two miles, making the hotel a sensible choice for golfing visitors as well as holidaymakers.
Its position just off the seafront rather than directly on it keeps rates a little lower than some of the town's larger hotels, while still leaving the pier, shops and museum within easy walking distance.
