An absolute delight from start to finish. James and Jane were absolutely fantastic hosts, extremely helpful, friendly and man alive do they go out of their way to look after their guests. The rooms are stunning. So many little extra touches, that make you feel like valued guests and they think of everything. The breakfasts are glorious. I honestly cannot thank them both enough, nor recommended them highly enough. My wife and i had such an amazing time staying with them.

Forget Four in a Bed, the Exmoor House B&B Hotel could give them all a masterclass. Our two‑night stay ticked every box and then a few we didn’t even know existed. The hosts were not only professional but genuinely welcoming, and their hospitality was spot‑on throughout. The breakfast was delumcious! Our room was cosy, spotless, and wonderfully comfortable, the sort of place where you instantly relax and briefly consider never going home. We’d happily stay again without hesitation. We also had a friend join us last minute. Although he stayed elsewhere, the hosts at Exmoor House were more than happy to welcome him for breakfast on both mornings, which was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The location is one of my favourites, made even better by having The Stag’s Head right next door, great people, friendly atmosphere, and a perfect spot to round off the evening. I would absolutely stay at Exmoor House again and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed 2 nights with Jane & James and loved everything about their wonderful establishment. The room was lovely with every comfort and everything of superior quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and Jane & James were very attentive to ensure we e joyed everything. A malfunctioning fan was replaced immediately. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Jane &James superb hosts very clean spot on position mabe a very small problem parking but makes you see a lot of the dunster would recommend this place thanks to Jane and James
