Club site on North Hill where the town gives way to open Exmoor

About Minehead Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Perched on North Hill where Minehead's streets fade into Exmoor's heather and gorse, this Camping and Caravanning Club site gives you genuinely quick access to moorland trails while keeping the seaside town within easy reach. Around fifty grass and hardstanding pitches—most with electric hook-up—suit tents, tourers and campervans, plus a couple of safari tents if you're travelling light. The elevated setting means views open out toward the moor, and walkers or mountain bikers can step straight onto Exmoor's network of paths without wrestling through suburbs first.

Facilities cover the essentials: modern shower blocks, dishwashing area, launderette and motorhome service points, with Wi-Fi across the site. Dogs are welcome and popular here, with dedicated walks nearby. Non-members can stay and join on arrival, so the club affiliation needn't put you off. Minehead's harbour, shops and seafront lie about a mile and a half downhill—close enough for a morning stroll or quick supply run, far enough that you're tucked into quieter, semi-rural surroundings come evening.
