Caravan park in the Durham Pennines with showers, a few minutes' walk from the Cross Keys pub.
About Cragside Caravan Park
Cragside Caravan Park sits in the Pennine hills near Eastgate, in the valley country west of Bishop Auckland. The A689 runs past the site, bringing a flow of traffic through the landscape of moorland and stone-built villages that characterises this part of Durham.
The park offers caravan pitches with access to shower facilities. The Cross Keys pub is just a short walk away, making it easy to eat out without moving the van far. The setting is rural and high—this is working moorland rather than a manicured tourist destination—so expect weather to be a genuine factor in a stay here.

AVOID AVOID AVOID……… Please be very careful of this site. The warden is a vile man who takes pleasure in belittling people. I’ve never spoken to anyone so disrespectful. He’s got a stinking attitude. I’ve only given one star as I can’t give any lower. If you’re looking for somewhere safe to take your family this is not the place. PLEASE Don’t let the warden fool you he’ll say/ do anything to get your money.

Great place to have a static caravan. Some amazing scenery. Lots of hills to explore. Some lovely pubs around the area, most offering food. A small stream with some great waterfalls. The members are very welcoming and the warden most helpful.
