Belle Vue - Belle Vue House
County Durham
View on Google MapsBelle Vue House dates from the 1890s and retains the character of that period, though it was comprehensively restored in 2020. The property sits in Eggleston village, a rural spot in County Durham with Eggleston Hall Gardens within walking distance. The house is yours alone—three bedrooms, two bathrooms, parking for three cars, and a lawned, enclosed garden with seating areas. The ground floor has a living room, a kitchen and dining area arranged around an electric fireplace, a conservatory facing south, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, the first bedroom has a king bed and ensuite shower; the second a double bed; the third two single beds. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over it. One well-behaved dog stays free.
The kitchen is fitted to cook properly in, with an electric hob, oven and microwave. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The conservatory and garden make good use of good weather. Eggleston itself has two pubs serving food. The North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is nearby for walking, cycling and hiking, and the village is accessible on foot for shorter journeys. No smoking in the property.
