Oak

Oak is a single-bedroom holiday pod designed for couples or small groups, sleeping up to four with a sofa bed in the living area. Everything you need is supplied: electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, and the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob and microwave, so you can cook as much or as little as you want. The open-plan layout keeps things simple—a living area with smart TV and dining space flows into the bedroom with a double bed and a shower room with cubicle shower. Underfloor heating keeps it warm in cooler months.

The real draw is outside. A decked area holds a private hot tub for four, surrounded by garden furniture and a BBQ. You have private parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved dog can stay free. The pod sits within reach of Stewarton, a town with independent shops, cafés and pubs within walking distance, some dog-friendly. Ayrshire itself opens onto a 100-mile coastal path, castles, gardens and championship golf courses—Turnberry, Royal Troon and Rowallan among them. Inland, the region offers cycling, walking and fishing. If you want to reach further, ferries connect to Cumbrae, Arran and Bute; Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are accessible, as are Glasgow and Edinburgh for day trips. No smoking inside.
