West Tannacrieff
East Ayrshire
The Ayrshire coast and countryside lie within easy reach of West Tannacrieff. Culzean Castle and Dumfries House are popular day trips; the seaside towns of Ayr, Prestwick and Troon offer sandy beaches with views towards Arran; ferries run to both Arran and Cumbrae. Inland, Galloway Forest Park—Britain's largest at three hundred square miles—sits about an hour's drive away, with valleys, moorland, lochs and native woodland to explore, plus a Dark Sky Park designation for stargazing after sunset.
The house itself is single-storey, arranged around an open-plan living space with an electric woodburner. Four bedrooms, each with an ensuite shower, sleep seven: two rooms have pairs of single beds, one a double, one a single. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with a dishwasher and washer-dryer. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A large lawned garden with patio furniture and parking for four cars complete the setup. The property draws water from a borehole and sits on a quiet country lane near the village of Fenwick, which has a shop, pub and restaurants. No smoking indoors.
