Cross Gates Cottage dates back three hundred years. The building sits on a working property in East Devon, with its own separate entrance and complete privacy from the owners' home nearby. Recently refurbished throughout, it retains original character while meeting modern expectations for comfort and convenience.

Inside are two bedrooms and one bathroom, accommodating four guests. The living room centres on a wood-burning stove. Beyond that, a garden room opens onto views across the countryside—the best place to settle with a book or watch the light change over the landscape. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Outside, a private hot tub sits in the garden, accessible whatever the season. Electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard; wifi is available throughout. One dog is welcome to stay.

Coastal paths and countryside walks start from the doorstep. The Jurassic Coast and Exeter cathedral are both within reach for a day out. No smoking indoors.
