Ebford is a quiet village on the River Exe, within easy reach of Exeter yet surrounded by countryside walks and the wider Devon landscape. This Grade II listed longhouse, built 400 years ago, sits on an acre of private grounds and accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The owners live on the property, and they keep a residential cat that has access to the grounds.
The main floor contains a living room with woodburner and smart TV, dining room, kitchen with electric oven and induction hob, and a playroom with TV. Upstairs are four bedrooms: a super king, two kings, and a three-quarter double. A shower room on the ground floor and a bathroom upstairs with both bath and shower mean groups won't queue. The kitchen is equipped to cook proper meals rather than holiday snacks. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi come as standard; initial fuel for the woodburner is also included. One well-behaved dog stays free.
The garden has enough space for children to run and dogs to roam, with furniture and a barbecue. You can park five cars on site. The Exe Estuary nearby draws birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts, and walking trails thread through the surrounding farmland. Smoking is not permitted inside.
