Pinewood Retreats - Lodge 1

Lyme Regis sits three miles away, close enough for a day trip to the harbour and fossil shops but far enough that Pinewood Retreats feels like genuine escape. Lodge 1 is a two-bedroom cabin on the grounds, with its own parking space and a small decked area outside where you can sit with a cup of tea. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space with a smart TV, a kitchen fitted with an oven, hob, microwave and fridge, a shower room, and two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles. Bed linen and towels are supplied, and heating is included.

The site has an indoor pool (18m × 7m, shared with other guests) and an outdoor pool, along with changing facilities. You arrive after 4pm and leave before 10am. The lodge is non-smoking. If you want to cook properly, the kitchen will do it; if you'd rather not, Lyme Regis is a short drive for fish and chips or a pub meal. Most of the appeal is simply having space to yourself without being isolated—the pools are there if anyone wants them, but you're not obliged.
