Sea View Lodge

Sea View Lodge is a four-bedroom property sleeping eight on the 350-acre Rousdon Estate in East Devon, positioned between Seaton and Lyme Regis. The ground floor holds two double bedrooms, a shower room, plus a spacious living area comprising a sitting room with woodburner, a full kitchen with gas and electric cooking, and a glazed sun room that opens onto the garden. Two further bedrooms—both with single beds—and a second bathroom occupy the first floor. Everything you need for self-catering is provided: heating, hot water, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included, along with initial logs for the fire. Cots, high chairs and stairgates are available if required.

The main draw is the enclosed garden with its private hot tub and patio, all facing out towards coastal views. Beyond the garden lie the estate's shared woodland grounds, which offer numerous walking routes. Private parking is available for up to three cars. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra charge. The coastal path and beaches are accessible nearby; the wider South West peninsula—Dorset, Devon and Somerset—is within reasonable reach. Note that smoking is not permitted indoors.
