Brandy's is a single-storey Grade II listed barn on Whitwell Farm, a working sheep farm in the Axe Valley near Colyton. The property stands alone on 150 acres of fields and woodland, with the coastal town of Seaton within reach. One person can sleep on the sofa bed if needed, making it suitable for a couple with a child, though the main bedroom holds a four-poster double bed.
Inside, the living space combines a sitting room with wood burner, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom featuring a jacuzzi bath. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Heating comes from a biomass system, and electricity is covered in the price; logs for the burner are available separately. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Outside, there's decking with seating, parking for two cars, and access to the wider farm grounds, which have a children's play area and picnic spots. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted. The property requires a £50 security deposit, with check-in from 14:30 and checkout by 10:00.

We had the most wonderful stay in Ashley’s Cottage, the view was amazing, we were very lucky to have woken to see two new lambs in the morning. The owners are extremely nice & helpful. The whole place was clean & homely. We would definitely stay there again & recommend it for a peaceful & relaxing stay.

Stayed in the 5 bedroom barn conversion for 2 nights. Lovely place, comfortable, everything one could wish for in a self catering place, even 2 kettles! Peaceful location, very quiet with a nice view. Maybe a smart TV or a Fire stick/Chromecast were the only possible improvements. Charming hosts too, highly recommend! We will return...

A fantastic cottage set on a farm in rural East Devon. We got comprehensive instructions before we came telling us both what to expect, what was in the area and more importantly how to find the cottage which is down roads no more than cart track width. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owner who explained to us what we needed to know and where things were and then left us undisturbed for the rest of the week. The cottage is equipped with everything that you could possibly need during your stay, it has a very comfortable bed, nice towels are provided and it is spotlessly clean. The rear of the cottage has a terrace with table and chairs and views over the valley and the farm. The cottage has 2 freeview televisions and good wifi which allowed me to stream sky sports to my tablet, something which I never expected at such a rural location. All in all a perfect place to spend a week in the peace and quiet.
