About Wolds Walk Glamping
Perched on a hilltop right next to the Yorkshire Wolds Way, this intimate glampsite delivers on its name with spectacular panoramic views that seem to stretch forever. The handful of well-equipped pods each come with underfloor heating, Freeview TV, wifi, and basics like a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster – plus fairy lights and your own stargazing chart to make the most of the impressively dark skies overhead. Firepits and barbecues are available for hire to extend those evenings under the stars.
Dogs are welcome year-round, and with the Wolds Way on the doorstep plus the Cleveland Way just 13 miles distant, walkers (two- and four-legged) are spoilt for choice. The village pub in East Heslerton is within walking distance, though you'll need some energy left after a day's ramble. Scarborough's coast is half an hour by car, while market town Malton sits 20 minutes inland for supplies and a potter around the shops.

What visitors say
The most idyllic setting for an escape away from the world. Surrounded by stunning views, you will be encompassed in comfort. Paula, the host, has thought of perfect details to make this stay warm and comfortable. From easy to control heating, to a comfy bed, extra blankets and a powerful shower. Beautifully decorated with everything you need. I highly recommend booking direct through their website. I can’t wait to be back again in this slice of perfection.

Pods are very clean and have everything we need. They are located on a hill and view of the landscape is excellent. Heated underfloor is a great thing in winter. No issue with hot water or heating. Cars are parked behind the pods.

We stayed here in August 2025, in The Beehive. The accommodation was beautiful and perfect for our family. The pods are in a gated field, meaning my kids could run around with a lot of freedom. Highlights were morning runs along the beautiful Wolds Walk (although a lot of hill running!), enjoying the hot tub, and sitting out at night to look at the stars. The pods are very well equipped - we didn't have any trouble preparing meals (although the firepits were sensibly out of use because of the dry weather causing wildfires this summer). They were very clean and well-cared for. We had no problems with check-in or check-out. The hosts were happy to answer my questions via phone regarding our check-in time (we were worried we'd be delayed because of a road closure). The pods are a fantastic location for hiking but also a short drive away from Scarborough, Whitby, and Bridlington, so plenty of opportunity for seaside fun too. I highly recommend.

Recently did a family stay in the Beehive pod on bank holiday. The entire experience was absolutely beyond expectation. The location is set on a hilltop meadow overlooking a Yorkshire Valley. The the grounds were clean and the quiet, lovely fire pit and jacuzzi. Service was excellent. Last but not least was the pod, it was gorgeous and offered all the creature comforts of home, including full working bathroom, kitchenette, electricity, running hot/cold water, internet. This list literally goes on and on. It was so incredible and relaxing that pretty much any glamping experience after this will be a downgrade for us.
