We bought tickets in advance, which was straightforward. There are different price groups that can make a little more affordable. When we arrived, we were greeted and enthusiastic and helpful man on the gate. Parking spaces are a little narrow but seemed plentiful. The huts provide something of a sequential theme around WW2. If you want to do it in order it can get a awkward. We started behind a group of 7, who were wanting to take photos. The huts are well themed, focussing on different aspects. With the use of lighting, sounds, smells, and the overall set design, many of them are very immersive. There's also some classic cars of the era and some tanks. Adding to the overall theme. If I'm being picky, I'd say there's too much to read or at least you don't know what to read to get a good overview. The mannequins are a little dated but strangely enchanting, like an old Dr Who episode!

I would say the best ww2 museum I've visited and I've been to a lot. Very well laid out so much information and the atmosphere created in the various huts with the sound, smell and visual effects are great. Staff really friendly. Food and drinks available at the average price at this type of venue.

I visited Eden Camp museum just after it opened in the 80’s with my parents and loved it then, so this was a welcome revisit. It is still a wonderful gem of a museum and since I last went it has grown in size, so there was more to discover. I love the way the museum caters for all ages with atmospheric walkthroughs of streets, the blitz and so forth with smells, sounds and concise info boards for those who find reading the longer information boards tricky. Great activities for small children with a play area, games and find/seek clues throughout. Also plenty of benches to rest your feet and stop for a breather. Great to spot the swallows who nest in the eaves of the huts. There is a cafe/restaurant WinStans which has a dog friendly section and a gift shop. WinStan’s has a good selection of food options including vegetarian ones. The veggie toad in the hole in a giant Yorkshire pud was delicious. We spent all day there as we love history and my husband loves the old vehicles such as the tanks. Mid week term time you will probably share the museum with lots of excited school kids milling about so maybe wait later in the day to visit. There were a few schools there when we visited but it was fine😊 Plenty of parking and cheery staff especially the man on the entrance gate. A newer display on human torpedoes was fascinating and something I wasn’t familiar with. Well worth a visit.
