Bradley is a newly converted three-bedroom house that gives six people the whole place to themselves, including a back garden with patio and parking for up to four cars on site.

The layout is straightforward. Downstairs holds the kitchen—equipped for proper cooking with an oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer—and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, the living and dining room opens onto a smart TV and electric fire, while the three bedrooms offer a double, two singles, and a bunk bed. Bed linen, towels, electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are all included. One small dog can stay free.

What makes the location work is the variety within reach. The dunes, marshes and bird reserves around Gibraltar Point are genuinely wild; the Lincolnshire Wolds offer proper walking country; while Skegness and the traditional seaside are a short drive away. Friskney itself is the kind of place where you can actually hear the birds. No smoking indoors.
