Chestnut Cottage sits on the edge of an 80-acre working farm at Wainfleet All Saints, where the River Steeping runs nearby and countryside stretches in most directions. The village itself has shops, pubs and restaurants within a short walk, and is within reach of Skegness beach (4 miles) and its attractions. Fishing in the river is available to guests with a license of their own.
The cottage is a two-storey terraced property with three bedrooms sleeping six: one kingsize double and two rooms with single beds. Downstairs there is a living room with smart TV and patio doors opening onto a garden, plus a kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom contains a bath with shower over. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with heating throughout. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
The enclosed garden comes with a patio and hot tub. Walking and cycling routes start from the door along the river bank. The property does not permit smoking. Nearby are the brewery at Wainfleet (which runs tours and a pub), National Trust properties including Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle, bird and seal sanctuaries along the coast, and medieval Lincoln with its castle and cathedral, 40 miles away through the Lincolnshire Wolds.
