Camping on the touring field. First couple of nights were alright. The toilets are in need of a regular clean as we found excrement on the wall and sweet wrappers that wasn't removed all week. Camping field is not patrolled in the evenings. We have young children and guests were free to kick balls at our tent and light fires when its clearly stated this isn't allowed. Once a complaint went in from another guest, a site official approached the offender and said it was fine to keep a fire going despite tents getting filled with smoke. Doing activities although organised well, our disabled daughter who physically cannot speak was told by a member of the team she had to socialise with other children and not stand so far away. Upset by this my daughter didn't enjoy the activities. Few nights later, we went to the restaurant for food. Queued for 35 minutes to be told only when we got to the counter that food is no longer available despite it being over an hour before food service stops. Had to go off site to find suitable food. Manager just said we are too busy and sorry for the lack of communication. Rowdy over crowded tents. Un supervised children hitting our baby daughter when she just wants to use a swing. Parents not bothered. Arcades under staffed, laundry room constantly having broken machines.. only positive feedback goes to three members of staff who were fantastic with our children and their particular needs. Even the site security told us off for turning carts around in the car park on our cycle karts we hired. Was rude and abrupt. Outdoor pool overcrowded. All a bad experience in my opinion. Sorry we will not use this haven again

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely wonderful holiday – we’re already planning our return! We’ve just returned from a fantastic break and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From start to finish, every single member of staff was friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. As someone with mobility requirements, I was thoroughly impressed by how accessible the entire site was – everything was easy to navigate, with thoughtful provision in place that made such a difference to our comfort and enjoyment. Our eldest son has ADHD and autism, and we were so grateful for the patience, kindness and encouragement shown to him at every activity he tried – from the aerial adventure and bungee trampolines to archery. Every instructor took the time to support him at his own pace, helping him feel confident and proud of what he achieved. It meant the world to us to see him joining in and having such a wonderful time. A special mention must go to Gary, who led our nature tour – he was incredibly knowledgeable, great with all the children and happily answered every question they asked. He made the experience so engaging and fun for everyone. The live entertainment was also outstanding – high quality, enjoyable for all ages and really added to the lovely atmosphere. We did have one small issue when we arrived, as our accommodation wasn’t quite ready at our booked check-in time. However, the team acted immediately to resolve this, kept us updated throughout and fully refunded the extra fee we’d paid for early check-in but the issue was resolved in under 1 hour. The way they handled it was professional, apologetic and showed how much they value their guests. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. Every part of our stay exceeded expectations, and we’re already looking at dates to come back next year. Thank you to everyone at Haven for making such a memorable, stress-free break for our whole family – you were all absolutely amazing!

A really worthwhile holiday. I have visited a few holiday parks but this one beats them all. Very clean, really good daily activities for the kids, indoor pool is warm and cleaned regularly, staff were very welcoming. The general vibe was calm, even the seagulls seemed to keep themselves in check. A 5 minute walk from the amazing beach. Only thing I could knock was the outdoor pool, could do with some TLC and is definitely not heated , as was described. Would definitely go again

Nice quiet location with good access to the beach. Accommodation was great. Very clean with proper shower. On site entertainment was good for the kids. Quayside bar food was good with handy mini market on site. Only let down was the on site chippy. Fish portions were appalling for cost (child's fish smaller than fish finger) and chips weren't freshly cooked. Also had missed items from order but didn't find out until we were back at caravan. Shame as rest of stay was so good.
