Kingfisher Lodge

Kingfisher Lodge is a self-contained property built for comfort and self-catering. The ground floor holds an open-plan living area combining kitchen, dining and lounge space, fitted with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and television. Two bedrooms occupy this level—one with a double bed, one with twins—alongside a shower room. Upstairs, a galleried third bedroom contains another double. Bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are all provided, so you need only bring your belongings. An enclosed patio with garden furniture sits outside, and parking is on site.

The lodge overlooks a well-stocked mixed coarse lake where fishing permits are available. The setting is quiet and rural, though a dog-friendly pub is just 100 yards away. Bollingbroke Castle and Snipe Dales Country Park lie within reach, as do the antique shops of Spilsby and Horncastle, while Lincoln's cathedral and the Lincolnshire coast are both a short drive off. Note that there are narrow spiral stairs and an unfenced lake on the grounds; the property suits families with children aged 10 and over, couples, or those with older teenagers.
