Stag Cottage

Keal Cotes sits in the quieter reaches of the Lincolnshire Wolds, where gently rolling countryside and walking country surround a small, well-maintained caravan site. Stag Cottage occupies its own plot here, with a back garden that includes a seating area and firepit, parking for two cars, and access to the grounds and lake for those travelling with dogs on a lead.

The cottage is a single-storey, one-bedroom property sleeping two. Inside: a combined living and dining space with Freeview television and compact kitchen (electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer), a bedroom with a 4ft 6in double bed, and a shower room. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included. Central heating keeps things warm. The layout is straightforward, with everything on one level and just a single step to the entrance—though there is a step down into the garden. Non-smokers only.

This works well for couples or solo travellers wanting somewhere quiet to base themselves for exploring the Wolds, or simply to slow down. Spilsby's market town facilities are a short drive; Horncastle with its antique shops and vintage dealers a bit further. On-site fishing is available at cost with a licence. Pets stay free.
