Tattershall Lake sits in the Lincolnshire countryside where the water dominates the landscape. The cabin, Vue Du Ciel, occupies a spot within a park that takes its leisure seriously—paddleboarding, jet skiing and fishing all happen on the lake itself, and the grounds offer walking routes through the surrounding land. Tattershall Castle, a National Trust property, is nearby if you want to venture inland.
Inside, the accommodation spreads across a single ground floor with three bedrooms that together sleep six people. There is one bathroom with a shower and a second toilet in the double bedroom's ensuite. The open-plan living and dining space connects to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts. Essentials including heating, linen, towels and wi-fi are covered, along with parking for one car on site.
The standout feature is the private hot tub positioned on the decking, which seats all six guests. This is where you'll spend evenings after days on or around the water. One small dog can join you, though a charge applies. The cabin does not permit smoking. Check-in is from 16:00 and checkout at 10:00.

The caravan was nice and in excellent condition. The only downfall was that the caravan was located 20 minutes' walk from all entertainment hubs.

We stayed at Tattershall Lakes for a long weekend from Thursday to Sunday in a lodge we rented through Airbnb, and overall it was a fantastic break. The first thing that hits you is the view. The lakes are absolutely stunning and really make the whole place feel relaxing from the moment you arrive. It’s the kind of spot where you can properly switch off. We were also impressed with how easy it was to get around. The signage across the site is very clear, so you don’t feel lost trying to find different areas. The security team were especially helpful too, pointing us in the right direction when we arrived, which made things a lot smoother. That said, I would definitely recommend using What3Words to pinpoint your lodge exactly, as it just takes away any guesswork. There were just a couple of downsides. The main one was the condition of the roads. There are quite a lot of potholes around the site, and given the cost of staying here, it feels like something that should be sorted. I can’t imagine we’re the first to notice it either. Also worth mentioning, the on-site shop is very expensive, so it’s best to come prepared. One thing that did catch us out was the outdoor play park. We assumed this would be included, but it actually requires park passes, which felt a bit harsh, especially as we were only there for a few days and didn’t plan on using the main complex or entertainment. Overall though, we had a great stay. The setting alone makes it worth it, and with a few small improvements, it would be near perfect.
