The Forge

The Forge stands in the Lincolnshire countryside between Lincoln and the coastal resorts, positioned for exploring both inland attractions and beach days. Midville village hall is nearby; the landscape offers open country views with clear sunsets. A shop and pub lie a couple of miles away.

The property is a detached house with three bedrooms—two doubles and one single—sleeping up to five people. There is one bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs holds a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a kitchen/dining room with electric range, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a conservatory. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided. The enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture is accessible from the house, and there is parking on site.

The cottage suits families and groups of friends rather than commercial lets. Tattershall Castle and the Battle of Britain and East Kirkby Aviation Museums are five miles away. Woodhall Spa, also five miles distant, has the Kinema in the Woods cinema, cycle hire and signed routes through the area. Horncastle, ten miles off, is known for antique and vintage shops. Note that the property has open, steep or narrow stairs. No smoking is permitted inside.
