Broomrigg Farmhouse

You enter Broomrigg Farmhouse into a generous layout built around comfort and gathering. Ground floor holds the living room with its wood burner and television, a kitchen and dining space where you can cook and eat together, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a shower room. Upstairs are four bedrooms—each configured with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as singles or doubles—plus a bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower, and another shower room. The whole place is yours alone, sleeping eight.

The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, with electric range, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; logs for the wood burner are too. Outside, a wrap-around patio overlooks rolling fields on the Winton Estate, with a private wood-fired hot tub, enclosed garden and space for four cars including an electric charging point. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.

Tranent is in East Lothian, close to Pencaitland and within thirty minutes of Edinburgh city centre by car. Rosearista Coffee House is nearby for provisions or a break from cooking.
