What visitors say
Ive stayed twice recently due to having work done on my own home. I have fallen in love with Rosehip. Its warm, cozy and comfortable. Hosts Veronica and Ian are such warm people. Their cafe is also lovely. Their daughter bakes amazing cakes! I can highly recommend Rosehip, for a solo get away. I'm planning a group get together in the spring. Here will be perfect!

We were thrilled to hire all 4 cabins this last week for a wider family meet up. It is so beautifully presented. Clean, modern and fresh. It is very comfortable and warm. I was pleased to be in the double, but I wonder if it might have been quite cosy in a family one. As well as each hut having a bbq and kettle, Veronica has now added a couple of communal facilities - a single electric hob and pans and a microwave. The beds are so comfy and the heating and hot water lovely and warm. There is plentiful outdoor chairs, but we found it handy to have a few camping chairs to be able to move around with them. Veronica was so friendly and helpful. On site her daughter runs a handy cafe. They kindly made a cake for my husbands birthday. We liked the local area, plenty to do. For our few days we enjoyed cycling, whisky tasting, a seaside trip and a visit to haddington. Thanks for a lovely break.

Rosehip Hideaway was absolutely perfect for our recent family stay in September. We hired 3 of the cabins and they were all lovely, very spacious, lovely kitchen area in all of them and comfy beds/sofa beds. Bathrooms are very roomy too. All cabins were very clean. Veronica and her husband were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and there’s also a cafe on site, the food was lovely and staff so friendly and helpful. There’s also a few restaurants on Justeat that deliver to the cabins - we would recommend the China Garden. We will definitely be returning!! Thanks for a lovely stay, from Kathy and family x

Just spent the weekend at the Rosehip cabins in Pencaitland with friends. EXCELLENT ! the cabins are spotless and the beds the same and comfortable. The overhead showers are superb !! The grounds are lovely and quiet with plenty of space for kids and dogs alike. The adjoining cafe is excellent serving great coffee and home cooking/baking. A big hit with cyclists and walkers. We spent 3 nights sitting around the fire pits chilling out and having barbeques. The weather was great which is always a bonus for us Scots so a perfect weekend break. Would happily recommend. Lovely owners as well. We'll be back !!
